About 11Prime
11+ preparation usually comes in one of two shapes: a stack of PDF practice papers with an answer key at the back, or a video course with no way to tell whether any of it actually went in. Neither tells a parent what their child should practise next. 11Prime exists to close that gap.

Why we built it this way
We started with YouTube, teaching 11+ topics the way we wish someone had taught them to us — one idea at a time, explained properly rather than rushed. The response from the children who watched surprised us: they asked to watch more. That doesn't happen with most 11+ content, and it told us the format was worth building out properly rather than treating video as an afterthought.
So every lesson gets a worksheet that actually marks itself and times each answer — not just whether it was right, but how long it took to get there, which is often the more useful signal. Get something right slowly and you probably need more practice, not more teaching. Get it wrong quickly and it's a different problem entirely. A walkthrough video then goes through exactly where marks were lost, so there's always a clear next step instead of a raw score and a shrug.
What we believe about 11+ prep
Consistent practice beats cramming.
A short, focused session most days builds the pattern-recognition the 11+ actually tests. A single intense week rarely does the same.
Timing data matters as much as the score.
Knowing a child is slow-but-accurate on non-verbal reasoning is far more useful than a flat 70% — it points straight at what to practise.
Marking should be instant, every time.
Waiting days for a tutor to mark a paper breaks the feedback loop that makes practice effective. Ours is instant, so the walkthrough video still feels relevant when a child watches it.
Where we fit
We're a new 11+ company, not the biggest one. What we're building is a genuine alternative to the established platforms — built around video done properly, worksheets that respond to how a child is actually doing rather than a fixed order, and pricing that doesn't require a subscription just to try it. You can start for free on YouTube, work through ten free printable worksheets, and only pay when you're sure it's useful.
